DC Motor Speed Controller
DC motor
speed controller uses pulse width modulation to vary the speed of a motor
without reducing torque. It can control the speed of the motors with the voltage
up to 100V and the current up to 5A. Requires separate 5-15V power supply,
however if controlled motor works in the same range single power supply could be
used. Full technical explanation is included.
This is the kit that includes all components and assembly instructions. Top picture shows
how assembled controller looks like.
DC speed controller could be used with all industrial motors on our site. It also works
with the motors built from the kits, however it might be easier and cheaper to
control the speed of the reed switch based brushless motors with the speed
control unit of the Experimentation Kit #1.
This is an electronic kit that requires soldering iron for assembly. Typical configuration shown. Please note that this kit is developed by another company and therefore we do not provide any additional technical support.
